Alison Camp, Office Manager
Dr. Alison Camp, wife of Dr. Chris Camp, was a staff veterinarian at DOEH from 1994 until 1999, when she temporarily retired from veterinary practice to stay home and raise their children. Alison recently rejoined our office as inventory manager. Alison has had a lifetime passion for horses. Her current interests include dressage and combined driving, for which she is training a 10-year-old Welsh Cob. Alison also enjoys caring for her daughter’s two retired 4-H mounts.
Angela Smith, Head Receptionist & Scheduler
Angela joined the Del Oeste Equine Hospital team in May 2014. She is an animal lover, and her main passions are horses and dogs. Working with and around other horse enthusiasts and hearing their stories has always been her dream. Her love for horses began as a five-year-old, when she got her first pony. The pony was blind and they were the best of friends — Angela says “she taught me so much.” Her time away from work is spent with her two kids, four horses, and two boxer dogs, Bruiser and Bella. Angela enjoys trail riding, going to open play days, and team penning.
Dakotah Gresser, Receptionist
Dakotah joined Del Oeste in February 2015 and has enjoyed her time with the team. Her joy comes from working with and being around animals. While she currently doesn’t own horses, she had some in her childhood, and the memories of them are among her best. Dakotah enjoys learning and she believes you always learn new things when you’re around animals and their owners.
Felicia Wilson, Veterinary Technician
Felicia joined Del Oeste in February 2014. She first fell in love with horses at age three with her first horse, an Arabian named “Rudy,” now age 27 and still owned by her family. She spends free time with her daughter Chloe, also a horse lover; their two POAs, Hottie and Chip; and their Mini Aussie, Max. Felicia and Chloe enjoy showing on the Oregon POA show circuit and in local shows. In addition to her horses, Felicia enjoys camping, fishing and working in the yard.
Jamie Lewellyn, Veterinary Technician
Jamie has been a member of the Del Oeste team since the spring of 2010. She takes pleasure in providing excellent care to equines, both at work and in the community. She’s been a volunteer OHSET coach since 2013, and is also an active member of the Oregon Dressage Society. Jamie and her partner live on a small farm near Eugene, with their two dogs and horses.
Kate Petersen, Veterinary Technician
Born and raised on Whidbey Island in Puget Sound, Kate’s passion for horses began with Christmas gift of riding lessons. That launched an obsession and, for the next fourteen years, Kate worked to become the best possible rider. She has been associated with the Pony Club, the United States Eventing Association, and many more organizations, and has competed in three countries — the US, Canada, and New Zealand, where she was a working student. Kate is now an acting instructor at Make Your Mark Stables. She keeps herself busy riding, teaching, and working at Del Oeste.
