Recommended vaccinations for all equines who are under one year of age.
- No Strangles vaccinations until foal is older than one year.
- EWT (Eastern & Western Encephalitis, and Tetanus) and WNV (West Nile Virus)
3-dose series:- 1st dose at 4-6 months of age
- 2nd dose 4 – 6 weeks after 1st dose
- 3rd dose at 10 – 12 months of age
- Rabies vaccination at 6 months of age
- EHV (Equine Herpes Virus – Rhino)
3-dose series:- 1st dose at 4-6 months of age
- 2nd dose 4 – 6 weeks after 1st dose
- 3rd dose at 10 – 12 months of age
Flu (Influenza)
- 1st dose at 12 months of age
- booster 3 – 6 weeks after 1st dose
